### **Choosing a currency strategy**

In summary Upodi support two approaches to defining your multi-currency strategy. In the following we highlight the pros and cons of the two. This being said, there are multiple other strategies for multi-currency subscription management.

#### Single plan, multiple currencies.

With a _single-plan, multiple currencies_ - once you have created your product plan with the desired charges, you specify the price as the last option. In other words - a single plan, and multiple currencies. This is our recommended approach as correct pricing is aligned with the cycle of your charges.

#### Multiple plans, single currencies.

With this approach, each plan have a price configuration specific to a single currency. Attributes of the plan and charge cycle must be updated across all product plans for each change.
