Business Units allow you to split your Upodi tenant into separate Business Units, where certain limited users only have access to a subset of your Upodi customers or subscriptions.
Once the user is created, you can associate a limited user with a certain
Business Unit. This specific Limited User will only have access to customers, subscriptions and invoices associated with this particular Business Unit.
This is very useful for creating for example a partner-login, where the partner can only view their specific subset of customers.
Business Units are also a known functionality in some ERPs. In ERPs that support it (currently E-conomic) we also associate the business unit's customers and invoices with a certain department based on the
accounting code when we create them in the ERP.
