Revenue insights show the fundamental MRR, ARR and Net new revenue insights, while you are able to control the window for these numbers.
Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR)
Annual Recurring Revenue is a metric that shows the summed recurring revenue that comes in each year based on the current active subscriptions you have. ARR is one of the fundamental metrics for a subscription business as it can be used to measure current progress and predict future growth.
Annual Recurring Revenue will include:
- Revenue from new subscriptions and renewing subscriptions
- Upgrades and add-ons
- Losses from downgrades or lost customers
One-time charges and other fixed revenue is not included. These will only be reported in the
As an example if you have a monthly contract of 500$/month that would account to 6000$/year and 6000$ in ARR.
Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR)
Monthly Recurring Revenue shows the summed recurring revenue that comes in each month. It is calculated again by excluding any one-time fees and only summing the recurring subscription values.
As an example if you have a monthly contract of 500$/month that would account to 500$ in MRR.
